'Put down the weight of the world, that weight is gonna kill you.

Switch off the news, say nice things to other people, do nice things for other people, smile, do the things you like to do. It isn't going to make the bad world go away - it's always going to be there - but it's going to make you notice the good world at least a little more, and that's gonna make your day a little better...'

I said that on the book of face a couple of weeks ago, practising it and feeling good.  But I've also got a show to get out there and we're currently having a fantastic time rehearsing the play.

In the run up to
The Haunting of Blaine Manor which comes to The Kings Arms in a couple of weeks, I've put all my painted canvas work on one page here on the site - I'll be regularly updating the page and putting stuff up for sale there as the work grows.

You can find the page here:

And finally it's been a while since I mentioned my first novel, THE BENCH: A Tale from Paradise Heights which is doing well over on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.   If you have a Kindle of ebook reader on your laptops, iPads etc give it a download, for only £3.50 it's not gonna break the bank and it's a fantastic read and introduction to the critically acclaimed world of Tales from Paradise Heights.

Please share the blog if you can and hope to see you all down at The Kings Arms in a couple of weeks...

Keep that news channel switched off...:P

The play returns in August, this time to the fabulous creative hub that is THE KINGS ARMS in Salford, ran by the ever industrious and one of Greater Manchester's greatest creative supporters,  Lisa Connor.  Can't wait to get back to The Kings again, see you there.  Details in the poster above and tickets available at the link below.  We strongly recommend that you book your tickets as seating is limited and the first run of the show completely sold out.

Further details are available about the play elsewhere on the website at this link:

Tickets available on The Kings Arms Website:
