The Man With The Golden Eye...

Darren McGinn has been a fan of the series for quite a while. Darren is also a very talented man himself, producing some stunning photo art images over the years. We first got together through Tales from Paradise Heights Co Producer Ian Curley on the RANK revamp for The Lowry. A multi media master and photographer, he has produced some seriously stunning work for Tales from Paradise Heights so far and there is much more to come from him. Below are some of his shots of the 'dress run' of Strawberry Jack - which of course had Ian without his heavily scarred face. The look Ian had in the play came from the Golden Eye of Darren who produced graphic images of the look Ian would have in the play. Darren also created the quite stunning visual realisations in the trailer Directed by Ian Curley. Darren's Poster/Flyer designs are also below. Darren also produced the stunning animated projected backdrops for the play. Darren is currently working on visual ideas for the next play in the series, DIANE'S DELI.

The play produced the first song from the series of plays, THE GEMINI MAN, a song that would be heard in Strawberry Jack but also seen performed live in the future play TORCH, set within the club.
